What to expect
As a new business professional, your day will be very varied but structured. Your work will be made up of 30% key customer visits and 70% cold calling to prospect for new business. You will be calling at and managing multiple operating groups, on visits that we will plan for you; while the outlets for new business can be anything from coffee shops, kebab shops or bars. Your main objective will be to challenge and build a presence of our brands compared to those of our competitor’s.
Key elements and what to expect of this role include:
Developing a comprehensive account & geographical contact strategic together with building industry knowledge will be critical to the success of this role
Proactively identifying, developing and winning new business
Winning the business of, and managing the accounts of Multiple Operating Groups
Hitting agreed covered frequencies
Working collaboratively with the wider New Business team, sharing best practice and opportunities to grow profitable volume
Delivering on tactical campaigns objectives throughout the year linked to our Annual Business Plan
