You will understand the administration and operation within a Facilities Management environment with excellent written and verbal communications skills and a self-managing work style. With your eye for detail and excellent planning and organisational skills, you will work with our maintenance contractors to ensure administrative compliance for our large Villawood facility. You will have a good knowledge of a maintenance management system (CMMS), Microsoft applications and general office administration principles. You’re a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do.
About the role
As the Asset Officer administration, you will be responsible for overseeing contractor administration and general administrative services for our onsite facilities management team in delivering results that align with our contracting aims of Quality Service and Value for Money as well as compliant with relevant policies and legislations. You will work closely with the Asset Supervisor and Asset Manager to deliver Reactive and Proactive maintenance across VIDC.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Qualifications or relevant experience in Facilities Management or trade associated disciplines (building, electrical, plumbing etc)
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to a high compliance work health and safety environment
- Exposure to a general facilities management or building maintenance environment
- A good level of interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate
- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
