Your new role:
The Service Desk provides a single point of contact for the reporting of all customer service requests, these include IT, Facilities and Clinical Systems. The role of the Service Desk is to support and where possible resolve customer issues at the first point of contact and to manage issues passed to other suppliers or internal teams.
Serco ASP are recruiting for a Service Desk Analyst due to an internal promotion. We are looking for a candidate to join the team of 8, all of whom have a passion for customer care. Your duties will include call handling, resolving queries, or forwarding customers to the relevant team.
This role can often be an intense area, due to the nature of some calls received, the right candidate must be able to maintain a professional and courteous manner throughout all calls.
This role has a weekly rota, hours are similar office hours, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 9.30-5.30pm.
What skills do you need?
The right candidate for this role, will have some experience within a call centre helpdesk or service desk environment. You must have an interest in the service desk operation, alongside some knowledge of IT, computers and ITIL. You will be trained on our internal systems.
