Chef/Supervisor – Wishaw General Hospital

Your new role:
We are looking to recruit a full time Chef to join our team at Wishaw General Hospital. The successful candidate will prepare, produce, present and serve the menu items required for service users ensuring a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Health and Safety working practices and food hygiene regulations. In addition the post holder will be responsible for and provide supervision to the Chefs as well as assisting the Executive Chef in managing the service operation. The post holder will be expected to deputise in the absence of the Executive Chef.
We are looking for Chefs who have experience working within a similar catering environment, for a large amount of people. We are looking for candidates who have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in either Catering or Cooking. An intermediate food hygiene certificate is desirable.
